Contemplative Art Practice at the Egg Resumes

Are you interested in exploring the play between contemplation and art making? Do you (seek to) delight in the improvisational stage of the art-making process? Do you enjoy spaces where you can be both alone and together as you lean into the support of a community of fellow artists? Artist/facilitator, Jessica Cerullo, guides you between stillness and movement, in a space dedicated to the art of picking up and putting down influences. All disciplines are welcome: sketching, singing, speaking, writing, dancing, cross stitching, photographing, composing, etc.

About Jessica and the Contemplative Art Practice Lineage
Barbara Dilley developed Contemplative Dance Practice (CDP) inspired by her studies with Tibetan meditation master Chögyum Trungpa Rinpoche. I studied with Barbara when I was an MFA student at Naropa University 2004-2006. In subsequent years, I practiced with CDP NYC and Barbara’s dance art lab. I also assisted Barbara in the studio, and supported her in the developmental stages of writing her book, This Very Moment: Dancing, Teaching, Thinking. The Contemplative Art Practice I facilitate is a variation on Barbara’s Contemplative Dance Practice.
