The NADINE Project(New Artists Dance In New England) is a rotating collective of dancer/choreographers coming from Connecticut, New York, Philadelphia, and beyond.  They come together to play, make dances, and to offer constructive feedback in a friendly supportive environment.  This ‘playground’ residency for making dances is under the mentorship of its founders, Libby Nye and Janet Mansfield Soares.  It was created to encourage young professional choreographers and support their work in a congenial environment.

Nye teaches daily contemporary technique classes in preparation for choreographic sessions guided by Soares. Together, they coach works-in-progress toward completion while showcasing work and promoting future performance opportunities.

Works created at NADINE have been presented at 92nd Street Y, Built on Stilts, The Byrdcliffe Theatre, Norristown DanceFest, University Settlement, Rebound Dance Festival, 5X5 Dance Festival, Chen Dance Center, Suite Summer Festival, YES! Dance Invitational, American College Dance Association Festival, and WAXworks.
