About Jessica and the lineage supporting Contemplative Art Practice
Barbara Dilley developed Contemplative Dance Practice (CDP) inspired by her studies with Tibetan meditation master Chögyum Trungpa Rinpoche. Jessica studied with Barbara when she was an MFA student at Naropa University 2004-2006. In subsequent years, she practiced with CDP NYC and Barbara’s dance art lab. She also assisted Barbara in the studio, and supported her in the developmental stages of writing her book, This Very Moment: Dancing, Teaching, Thinking. The Contemplative Art Practice Jessica facilitates is a variation on Barbara’s Contemplative Dance Practice.
