Poets of the Heart – Dragon’s Egg Presents

To honour Valentine’s Day, and our connections to one another through love, the Dragon’s Egg offered a zoom event on Sunday, February 13th, at 1 pm.   The event lasted about an hour, and was full of color, variety, scandal, and love! Heh.

The Poets were:

We thank the poets for their love of words and images, for their love of the world, which allows these poems to flourish. We thank you, the audience, for being here to witness, and to be nourished.

The Dragon’s Egg continues to be able to be open to residencies and to offer both public and virtual events though your generosity, and with the support of the Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of the Arts, and with the support of The Ct. Humanities Council, from both of whom we have recently received grants. Without these infusions of material support, we could not continue to make and offer art out into the world.

We honor the land upon which the Dragon’s Egg sits, which was originally the homeland of the Mashintucket Pequot people.
We honor this zoom sphere of borderless community and all it offers to us.
