Nicky Checker playwrighting students at the Egg!

LIVE, ONE-CHARACTER-WONDER PERFORMANCES AT THE DRAGON’S EGG

Scripts written and performed by adult students (and actors) from Nicholas Checker’s Exploratory Playwriting & Filming program — held at the Thames Club, New London and in coordination with the Garde Arts Center & Flock MakerSpace — will be performed live at the Dragon’s Egg, 401 Shewville Rd, Ledyard CT, Saturday, April 30th, 2:30 PM.

Come see a young woman damaged by the cosmetic industry, a disgruntled alien seeking a planet that has not been ruined, a troubled woman questioning the man in her life, a disenchanted youth bemoaning the foster care system, a viking warrior defying his gods, a delusional man fighting his own delusions, and an aging “wolf” lamenting his time left.

Writers include Ellen Dahl, Henry Stebbins, JoAnn Brown, Thelma Waterman, David Hamilton, Matt Olson, Peter Yackovetsky.
