Showing!! this Sunday , March 1st, at 5 pm at the Dragon’s Egg. Do come join us!

ECHO will be at the Dragon’s Egg in residence again! They combine making music, playing the instruments, moving with and without their instruments, in an amazing way.

The showing will be approximately 60 minutes. The audience will be encouraged to walk through the space throughout the performance (though seating will be made available to those who need it.)

Appropriate for all ages, however not geared towards children.

Echo

ECHOensemble is a landscape of moving and sounding bodies, rousing the vibrations of the space and time they inhabit. Directed by Jonah Udall, ECHOensemble comes together in a shared practice called SHIFT, born from Mary Overlie’s Viewpoints, Steve Reich’s process music, and Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening, and years of messy research. They perform regularly for ChaShaMa in abandoned commercial spaces around New York City. They are Noah Becker, Dani Cole, Erin Landers, Kalun Leung, Allison Sexton and Jonah Udall.
