Clare Byrne in Residence in January

Clare Byrne and Friends are delighted to be in residence at the Dragon’s Egg for a yearly Winter Residency to work on new movement & choreography for Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, to premiere March 3-4, 2017 with the Burlington Chamber Orchestra in Burlington, VT.

“Martha’s Ballet” as Copland called this seminal piece of work, with get an entirely different treatment – situational in approach and  embedded into the orchestral seating.

Paul Besaw, Chong Ho Kim, Nicholas Leichter, Winnie Looby, Marc Wennberg, Avi Waring will be joining Byrne in this project.
