Deepen your bond with your child through the magic of music. Families will
engage in interactive and developmentally appropriate musical
experiences. Classes will explore music through circle songs/movement,
vocal exploration, instrumental play, and creative movement. Parents and
caregivers will also learn how they can incorporate music into their daily
routines and strategies to aid in musical development. Families will explore
improvisation and creative expression. It is my intent to foster an early
introduction to creative expression and inspire a life-long love of music!
Caregivers will also discover their own creative abilities and learn how to
be a musical role model for their children!
Music and Movement -12pm
Ages 6-11
All children have the same receptiveness for learning music as they
do language. There is a window of developmental opportunity for
mastery of basic musical skills in childhood. This music class will be
creative, fun, musical journey in which we will be exploring music
through singing, dancing, moving, and improvising!
Music plays an important role in developing the holistic child. This
includes every aspect of children; socially, creatively, intellectually,
cognitively, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Children who
engage in musical learning will be able to access this tool for self-
expression and creativity throughout their lives.
Cost:$10 per child- additional siblings $5
